About Covenant Worship
Covenant Church believes worship is not a style but a lifestyle and posture of complete surrender to the Lordship of Christ. Part of that worship is praising God together with Psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs (Colossians 3:16). The praise team uses a blend of contemporary and traditional songs/music along with the recitation of scripture to lead the congregation in lifting up the name of the Lord and leading us into an encounter with the only living and holy God.
"Therefore, since we receive a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us show gratitude, and offer to God pleasing service and acceptable worship with reverence and awe; for our God is [indeed] a consuming fire." Hebrews 12:28-29
